Intussusception occurs when a section of a kitten’s intestine telescopes into itself, creating a dangerous blockage that cuts off blood flow. It is a life-threatening emergency requiring immediate veterinary attention and almost always necessitates surgery. At 400g this kind of surgery, well any kind of surgery has monumental risks on such a tiny body. After along day Dr Patricia and her team closed the clinic to perform his surgery.
