This why people should desex. I have a young cat living in the scrap metal at the back of my work. It is not tame. I have been feeding it to build up it's trust. hopefully if I can eventually be able to pet it I can get it to the vet to be desexed. Don't know if it is male or female. No kittens at this stage so that's a plus.

It's amazing the bond that forms. Two of our foster girls had never met before coming into care heavily pregnant but became firm friends (trauma will do that) and subsequently helped nurse each other's babies. It's beautiful to watch knowing that they're safe, but would be sad to see on the streets.

It’s so sad and I have a neighbor who lets her 2 un desexed young cats roam free one of them was calling on heat under my house with a stray male Tom cat . I’m so furious I told her by placing a note on her door ( she doesn’t like me long story about her poor dog that howls when she leaves and just yells at him all the time) and that I could help somehow get her cats desexed but she really doesn’t care. It took me and my neighbors 5 months with the help of a cat rescue to rehome 3 abandoned cats and a litter of kittens desexed and microchipped then this muppet moves in and here we go again except I’m pretty sure she will give the kittens away 😡 Most likely mum will have them under my house as they live around my house anyway the poor bubs .
