πΌ Available for adoption: Sister sister! It's Beatrice and Clara! πΌ Clara and Beatrice are a wonderful tale of resilience in a time where humans gave up on them and they were sadly dumped with a number of other kittens just before Christmas last year. We are glad to have them as part of the MKC family! Clara is a playful, curious little explorer who loves to chase after feather toys and cuddle up after a long play session. She's full of energy and has a heart of gold! Beatrice adores playing and wrestling with her sis but takes the chill approach to life often taking herself off to have a snooze in a comfy and quiet spot. Although one thing is for certain, these sisters are OBSESSED with cat tv. They always come into each room looking at the tv and waiting for their beloved birds to appear! Clara and Beatrice would suit any home and are cat and child friendly. They are not a true bonded pair so do not need to be adopted together however if you are looking for a pair we always encourage siblings! π― Available for adoption: Why did the cat climb up a tree? It's Crusoe! π― Yep this kitten was found stuck up a tree when she was rescued! Quite the tale and QUITE the cat if you ask me - I mean look at this gorgeous girl! Crusoe has really been through a journey of socialisation since we've had her in care. Her trapper pulled out all the stops to get her to come round but until she moved to another carer we then saw Crusoe blossom into the most sweet and lovely cat ever! We are so thankful for the team effort to get Crusoe where she is now π₯° Crusoe has a lovely happy disposition and while it may take time for her to warm up initially she becomes totally social and darling once she does! The way to Crusoes heart is PLAY and lots of it. I got 10000+ action shots of her playing, but of course they were all blurry π she really has that wild child vibe about her when she's playing and it's absolutely awesome to see π€ Crusoe would suit a quieter home and someone who is able to provide her with patients and opportunities to grow in confidence and get better every day like she currently is π If you would like to meet the gorgeous Crusoe then please let us know by sending an inquiry through the below link ππ» https://mkc.org.au/adoptionenquiry Name: Crusoe Age: 8 months Location: Drummoyne Vet work: Desexed, microchipped & vaccinated and up to date flea and worm treatments. πͺ Available for adoption: A bakers dozen please! It's Bonnie Biscuits! πͺ Well... I'm a little biased for this one because I was her lucky foster carer π Bonnie!!! Formally a lonesome lost little girl trying to survive the streets on her own but now the snuggliest cuddliest lil baby you've ever met. With all fosters I begin their journey of care with no expectation, but this girl (who was terrrrrrified when she was rescued) lay on my chest first night with me and happily made biscuits and purred to her hearts content. She will be a shadow cat and totally loyal to you! After cuddles and biscuit making she'll create her own fun and games with toys and zooming around your home. Bonnie would suit a good quieter household and would be great as a solo cat or can be adopted into a family with other animals π she got along well with my own cats and has made friends at the adoption hub. πKogarah area - colony cat feeders neededπ - Can you help local feeders with colony cat feeding? We are assisting an amazing independent rescuer Leanne to find more volunteers to assist with colony cat feeding at Kogaragh. She need a few more people who can help with feeding once a week or fortnight. Food can be provided if needed, they just need people who can check on the colony and put food in bowls. Basically, it's a feeding and support job and it's a great help to stop animals from suffering as the volunteers work to desex these kitties. These colonies are small and have been well look after but sadly due to various reasons, some of the current feeders will no longer be able to feed the kitties and therefore they have reached out to MKC for help. Please comment if you are able to assist with feeding at Kogarah or any other Sydney areas. Thankyou ππΌ

πππAvailable for Adoption: Cheeto β A Sweet & Loving Ginger Tabbyπππ Meet Cheeto, a 4-year-old ginger tabby who is the definition of a family cat. Cheeto was adopted as a kitten and has been a happy, fully indoor cat ever since. Sadly, his owner is relocating overseas and can't take him along. Now, Cheeto is looking for a new home where he can be loved and cherished. What makes Cheeto special? πCheeto is friendly, affectionate, and loves to be around his people. Heβll wag his tail and meow when you call his nameβhe truly wants to be part of your daily routine! Whether itβs cooking, doing laundry, or relaxing on the couch, Cheeto is right there by your side. πHeβs respectful of his space and yours, and is described by those who know him as a handsome, easygoing cat. πCheeto loves a good play session (with lots of suspense and excitement) and will cherish the attention he gets during these times. πHeβs happiest as the only pet in a calm, peaceful home with adults who respect his boundaries. Heβs not fond of young children or other animals, and would prefer not to be left alone for long stretches. At night, Cheeto enjoys cuddling up next to you and will happily adjust to your sleep schedule. While he's not as playful as he once was in his kitten days (no more mid-air flips!), heβs still a fun and loving companion. Heβs the perfect fit for a first-time cat adopter or anyone looking for a gentle, low-maintenance buddy. His easygoing nature will steal your heart. Cheeto is ready to join a family who can offer him a peaceful home and plenty of love. Yeah itβs a ginger things 𧑠Not long until those little puffballs are no longer with him. Until thenβ¦β¦.
Yes, the images are exactly what they look like. A huge rescue, a lot of moving parts. RSPCA and Vets. We got you Casper. Donate to help Casper here www.mkc.org.au/donate Sometimes a cat comes along that absolutely touches you with their strength. This is one of them. That look you can see on his face? Pain killers. Somehow he had managed to survive weeks on the street. He has no ear, it has been removed manually. (Vets can see the cuts). We are going to guess that someone tried to do backyard vet work. He is at our vets and in the best of care. We havent been able to tell the story for a few days as we had to stabilise him. The RSPCA have been involved since last weekend, as has the awesome Abbotsbury vet , Greencross Vets and the carers and nurses at MKC. We expected the worse, this tough nugget of a cat just refused to give up. He is blind in one eye He is missing an ear He is missing parts of the other ear God knows what else happened. He is eating He is drinking He is FIV neg and Anemic. He needs our help. So what now? Bloods have been taken and samples are off to pathology. It will be cancer, it will be bad, but we will give him the best life he could have in the best home until he cant. BUT by some sheer fluke it isnt, this baby gets his 9th life. In either case, Casper will never go hungry or thirsty and will always have company and care. Thank you to all the team, Donna, Kell, Emily, Kylee, Kath, Cindy, Anne, Nyree and Patricia. Also Hannah and Marco. More pics inline.
