At Mini Kitty Commune (“MKC”, “we”, “us”, or “the people covered in cat hair”), we take your privacy seriously. Mostly because cats are excellent at judging poor life choices.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it while trying to save tiny furry chaos goblins across NSW.

What We Collect

• We want to help you adopt a cat
• A cat has already emotionally adopted you

• Process adoption enquiries
• Match animals with suitable homes
• Coordinate foster carers and volunteers
• Organise vet care and rescue logistics

• Prevent complete organisational collapse during kitten season

Donations & Payments

Donations may be processed through trusted third-party services such as:

• Stripe

We do not store full card details ourselves because:

2. We are busy cleaning litter trays

Adoption Applications

When applying to adopt, foster, or volunteer, we may ask extra questions to make sure:

• the cat is safe
• your home is suitable
• everyone involved is happy
• the kitten does not immediately learn tax fraud

We promise not to judge you for:

• buying expensive cat beds that never get used
• talking to your cat like a tiny landlord
• referring to yourself as “Mum” or “Dad”

Sharing Information

We do not sell your information. Ever.

Your information may sometimes be shared with:

• vets
• foster carers
• transport volunteers
• rescue partners
• service providers helping MKC operate

Only where needed to help animals or keep operations running smoothly.

No, we do not give your details to cats. They already know everything somehow.

Photos & Social Media

MKC regularly shares rescue stories, adoption photos, glow-ups, foster updates, and occasional evidence of absolute goblin behaviour.

If you send us photos or updates, you give us permission to use them for rescue, fundraising, and promotional purposes unless you tell us otherwise.

Especially if the photo contains:

• tiny toe beans
• bleps
• dramatic sleeping poses
• illegally small kittens

Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, or being knocked off a desk by a cat at 3am.

That said, no online system is perfectly secure.

Especially if a cat walks across the keyboard.
